Ladbrokes to conquer the online poker

The British group Ladbrokes has announced it will launch an online poker platform in Italy, having been awarded a license by the Autonomous Administration of State Monopolies (AAMS). Now, Ladbrokes will offer to Italian customers its poker services, but only in tournament mode. Online poker with real money will be authorized by the end of 2010.
The Ladbrokes last year launched on the Italian market its sports betting platform. Meanwhile, the leadership of Ladbrokes has decided to dispose of the assets of its Italian network of sales outlets, evoking corruption and too strong competition.
The president of Ladbrokes, Christopher Bell also announced that the British operator also includes the ability to attack the Italian online casino market, which will be regulated in Italy within the next few months. Currently, Ladbrokes has over 35,000 registered users Italians.
Italy has become one of the most thriving markets for gambling. This sector generates gross revenue of over 280 billion Euros per year. Other countries that are preparing to adopt favorable rules at online casinos are France and Spain, two markets with very high earning potential.
